BRidge — User Guide
How to access and use the BRidge trading, settlement, and index platform. Administrator: Atlas IP Holdings LLC · Support: info@atlasipholdingsllc.com
1. What BRidge is
BRidge is a web platform for the scrap-metal market: buyers, sellers, brokers, and mills transact materials through standardized contracts and Bills of Lading (BOLs), with transparent pricing from the published BR-Index family. There is nothing to install — BRidge runs in your browser.
2. Requirements
- Browser: a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
- Connection: internet access (live prices, orders, and settlement are server-backed).
- Account: an approved BRidge organization and a verified login (see below).
3. Getting access
- Apply: submit your organization at /apply. Applications are reviewed before activation.
- Choose a plan & pay: complete checkout; you'll land on a confirmation page once your subscription is active.
- Verify your email: click the link in the verification email, then sign in at the login page.
- Optional MFA: admins can enable time-based one-time-password (TOTP) two-factor authentication for stronger account security.
4. Your workspace
The page you see is matched to your role:
- Buyer — review available inventory, place orders, track contracts and BOLs, manage settlement and billing.
- Seller / Yard — list inventory, accept orders, issue BOLs, and view settlement statements.
- Broker — create RFQs and broker deals, quote and award, and track commissions.
- Admin — tenants, billing, compliance, partners, data subscriptions, and index controls.
Use the language and timezone selectors at the top of each page to localize dates and labels.
5. Everyday workflows
- Find a price: open Indices for current BR-Index values and history; methodology is published at /static/methodology.html.
- Trade: place an order or RFQ from your dashboard; matched trades create a contract.
- Move material: issue a BOL against a contract and advance it through the transit lifecycle (Dispatch → In Transit → Arrive → Unload → Close).
- Settle & pay: review settlement statements and invoices under your billing section; add or update a payment method as prompted.
6. Security & your data
Sessions are protected and time-limited; sensitive actions require re-authentication. Your data is isolated to your organization. See the Privacy Policy, Terms, and Subprocessors for details.
